The Friends of Whitefish Dunes - Friends Sponsored Events

Volunteers Needed. To sign up please email whitefishdunesdc@gmail.com. Volunteers are needed for Event Setup  4:00PM - 6:30PM (meet at the service area at the Cold Shop), for the Event itself from 6:30PM - 8:30 PM (meet at the Picnic Shelter to serve snacks and drinks) and Event Cleanup from 9:00PM - 10:00PM (Meet at the Nature Center to put all items away)

Volunteers Needed. Lunch will be provided by the Friends of Whitefish Dunes at the Nature Center. To volunteer and reserve lunch please email Susan Cubar at susan.cubar@gmail.com .

Here is a list of jobs to volunteer for:

• remove beach mats
• remove beach warning flags and signs
• pick up litter in the park
• clean up brush along roads and parking lot
• trim tree branches alomg trails
• trail mulching and work on new Cave Point Trail

Please bring work gloves, hand tools, hi-visability vests if you have them and wear appropriate clothing for the weather and the job(s) you are volunteering for. Meet at the Nature Center @ 9:00 am for instructions on how to proceed. Hope to see you there.
